ORANGE COUNTY NATIONAL EXPECTATIONS FOR PACE OF PLAY
At OCN, we pride ourselves on providing the best golf experience possible for all our guest. From course conditions and environment, to our friendly and professional staff, we strive to exceed your expectations.
Our expectation is that every guest will respect the enjoyment of the other golfers by playing at a reasonable pace of play.
REASONS FOR SLOW PLAY:
> Not arriving at the facility on the time > Not arriving at the first tee on time
> Playing the wrong (difficult) tees
> Searching for balls in hazards
> Parking carts in the wrong position around greens
> Discussions and scoring at the green > “Honors” letting the short hitter hit first
> Congregating in the fairways
We ask all guests to play ready golf and to remember that your correct position on the course is behind the group in front of you, not ahead of the group behind you.
We ask that you arrive at the facility 30 minutes prior to your tee time.
We ask that you be at the first tee 10 minutes prior to your tee time.
OCN’S pace of play expectation is 4 hours and 20 minutes maximum. Players not maintaining that pace will receive a warning from a player assistant on the course. If progress is not made, the player assistant can require the players to move up to a position that resumes the correct pace.
Again, we have these rules in effect to ensure the enjoyment of all our guest. Thank you and have a good game. Pace of Play
